Warm-up guide
Glute Activation Exercises
Activation drills are best treated as preparation: simple movements that help you rehearse positions and feel the target area before harder training.
A simple activation sequence
- Bodyweight glute bridge — controlled repetitions.
- Side-lying or banded hip abduction — light resistance.
- Quadruped hip extension or fire-hydrant variation — controlled range.
Keep it brief
A warm-up should prepare you rather than exhaust you. Stop chasing fatigue and save your harder effort for the exercises you intend to progress.
